Google Web Calendar Utils (GCU) supplements Google's online calendar functionality by providing utilities not available in its online Calendar or even in other mobile apps that synchonize with the online calendar.
GCU simplifies certain data-entry tasks and extends the capabilities of Google's online calendar by taking care of housekeeping, scheduling and reporting of events.
GCU allows you to:
Insert Multi-day Events:
• Insert the same event on an unlimited number of days without resorting to tedious copying and pasting.
• Custom interface allows you to define recurring events that follow no definable daily pattern, such as repeating events that are not always on same day of the week or month.
• Save often used events as templates so you don’t have to enter event details from scratch.
Manage Duplicate Events:
• Find and display duplicate events within one calendar or across multiple calendars.
• Delete (automatically or selectively at your own direction) duplicate events within a calendar and even across multiple calendars. If you’ve ever been bothered by duplicate events appearing in your calendars due to sharing or synchronization glitches, you will understand how useful this feature can be.
Clean Events:
• Delete all events in date range from one calendar or across multiple calendars. Optionally specify the events to be deleted using sophisticated search criteria.
Find, Display, Report, Update Events:
• Find events within one calendar or across multiple calendars using simple or sophisticated search criteria. Nerd Alert: Regular expressions are supported.
• Display results in a customizable HTML report with complete control over which event fields to display.
• Save often used search criteria as templates.
• Email search results using any installed email program.
• Delete all the events in the search results from Google Calendar.
• Move all the events in the search results to another calendar.
Find Changed Events:
• View calendar entries/changes made within a specified period in a single calendar or across multiple calendars.
